Hunstanton Beach Mission
Beach Mission was a great experience. I feel so much more confident and my faith has grown so much. I was worried about going as I didn't really know anyone but I knew the Lord was telling me to go.

When I arrived I found it a bit overwhelming, as everyone seemed to know each other, but soon I got to know everyone and felt part of the team.

It's a nice feeling to be around young people that have asked the Lord Jesus in their lives and want to tell others about Him.

Once we settled in we had tea and then were split up in groups. There were four groups and they split us girls up. The Saturday night we went to the town and put posters up about Crossroads Club and also gave out leaflets explaining why we are running the club.

Sunday was a very busy day - had breakfast at 8.00am. We were split up in three groups and each group attended a different church, the Methodist, the Parish and the Union. We then returned to the church and had dinner. The cooks prepared a roast which was very tasty. After that we had a time of prayer. We prayed that we would have many children come along to the Crossroads Club, which we did, thanks to the Lord.

After we had prayers we did some preparation for Crossroads Club. At 2.30pm we set out wearing our bright yellow hats. We set everything out on the beach and had many people nearby.
Then had a quick tea as we didn't have long till we had to be at Heacham Open Air. We sang many hymns and many people were in the area. It was great atmosphere. I said my testimony as I felt I should, I told them about how life is difficult but God is with us at all times. I also mentioned that I want to share my faith with others and God has shown me to come to Beach Mission this year. Also that the Lord Jesus died on the cross so we can be forgiven, which is an amazing thing. We don't deserve another chance but we have been given another one and we need to turn to Him before it's too late.

I hope and pray people around the area stopped and thought about the Lord Jesus and how they need the Lord in their life. Once the Heacham Open Air finished, we set off to Hunstanton on the green for another open air which was very similar. Then at 7.30pm we went to Neville Court which is a home for the elderly. We sang hymns to them and told them about the Lord. We arrived home about 9.30pm and had prayers. We thanked God for a good day. We returned to the church ready for a good nights sleep to prepare us for another day.

I made many new friends and learnt so much from other Christians on how to share my faith.

It was certainly a challenging week and it's a great experience for young Christians.
